MTOS Field Trip to Shelby Farms Park

Meet at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 19, at the parking lot for the disc golf course on North Pine Lake Drive.* See map for directions. You don’t have to be a MTOS member to participate and be sure to bring binoculars. There is no charge for field trips. (*Note to longtime participants: this is the usual parking lot we’ve used for years.)
The 4,500 acre county park contains a great variety of habitats including the Wolf River and associated aquatic habitats, bottomland hardwood forest and swamp, upland hardwood forest, pine forest, pasture, cultivated farmland and more.
