Join Memphis TOS for our annual spring field trip to Herb Parsons Lake just outside Collierville in Fayette County. Allen Sparks is your guide. See eBird sightings for this hotspot.
Meet at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, at the lake parking lot, 140 Herb Parsons Way, Collierville TN 38017. You don’t have to be a MTOS member to participate, there is no charge, and be sure to bring binoculars.
Expect early spring migrants such as warblers, vireos, swallows and tanagers, as well as year round residents like Red-headed Woodpeckers and Great Blue Herons.
