Meet at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 3 at the picnic area parking lot. Entrance fee is $4 per car on the honor system. You don’t have to be a MTOS member to participate and be sure to bring binoculars.
Built during the Great Depression by the famous Civilian Conservation Corps, the park is centered around a 60 acre, spring-fed lake and is rich in natural beauty. Expect early spring migrants such as Louisiana Waterthrush, Prothonotary Warbler, Northern Parula, Black-and-white Warbler, White-eyed Vireo and more.
