MTOS Field Trip to Meeman-Shelby Forest SP

Join us for another Memphis TOS chapter field trip to Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park. Our
trip leader is Jim Varner. Check out eBird sightings at this important hotspot.
Meet at 7:30 am on Wednesday, May 22 at the visitor center parking lot, 910 Riddick Rd., Millington, TN 38053. You don’t have to be a MTOS member to participate, there is no charge, and be sure to bring binoculars.
The park consists primarily of some 13,467 acres of upland and bottomland forests with miles of
hiking trails and two lakes. It hosts one of the finest arrays of plant and animal life in Tennessee.
A boat launch on the north end of the park accesses the Mississippi River.
