MTOS Field Trip to Meeman-Shelby Forest SP

Join us for a mid-week Memphis TOS chapter field trip to Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park. Our trip leaders are Dick Preston and Van Harris. Check out eBird sightings at this hotspot.
Meet at 7:30 am on Wednesday, September 27, at the park office/visitor center parking lot, 910 Riddick Rd., Millington, TN 38053.
The park consists primarily of some 13,467 acres of upland and bottomland forests with miles of hiking trails and two lakes. It hosts one of the finest arrays of plant and animal life in Tennessee. A boat launch on the north end of the park accesses the Mississippi River.
You don’t have to be a MTOS member to participate, there is no charge, and be sure to bring binoculars.
