Don’t miss Steve and Cyndi Routledge’s program on Costa Rica at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 2425 S Germantown Rd., Germantown, TN. Routledge is CEO of Southeastern Avian Research, current secretary of the Tennessee Ornithological Society, President of the Nashville Chapter of TOS, and a Federal Licensed Master Bird Bander specializing in Hummingbirds.

“Costa Rica had long been on our bucket list of destinations to bird and thanks to Susan Hubley, TOS member from the Kingsport Chapter, we were able to do just that in February of 2024. Along with 7 other TOS members, including MTOS member Dick Preston, we spent a couple weeks exploring the eastern Caribbean slope, western Pacific coast and the central Highlands of this diverse compact Country. We saw a total of 421 species and enjoyed Costa Rica’s cuisine and warm hospitality.  We look forward to sharing a bit of our experiences with you.”

You don’t have to be a MTOS member to attend and there is no charge. Meetings include social time and snacks.
