MTOS Field Trip to Rodney Baber Park
February 9 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm CST
Join Ryan Pudwell to see displaying American Woodcocks at Rodney Baber Park. Ryan says, “The conditions should be decent for getting a good look at the woodcocks displaying since the moon will be up a few hours before sunset and the clouds should disperse the moonlight making it a bit brighter than a typical evening for this time of year.”
Rodney Baber Park is located at 2215 James Rd, between Hollywood St. and McLean Blvd. It is also directly across the road from the not yet open Frayser Branch of the Memphis Public Library.
For information on parking and where to meet contact Ryan Pudwell at rpudwell@gmail.com.
You don’t have to be a MTOS member to participate, there is no charge, and be sure to bring binoculars.
